Recess letβs you create one or more configurations (a list of apps to take time away from), which you can then enable by selecting particular Focus modes on your iOS device.
To link a Recess configuration to a Focus, visit the Settings app on your device, and under the relevant Focus scroll down to Focus Filters and add a filter.

You can now connect your Slack profile to Recess from the iOS app. Once connected, any time you invoke a Focus mode that is connected to Recess, your status will be changed to:

Can Recess see what apps are installed on my phone?
No, Recess uses the iOS Family Controls framework to let you select a list of apps. This prevents Recess from actually being able to see which apps you have installed (or even those you select!).
Does Recess track any of my activity within the app?
No, Recess has no tracking whatsoever built in.
